Glass Shop Online supplied and delivered a premium balcony balustrade system to a residential property in Holyhead. The project required a robust yet elegant solution that delivered both safety and privacy in a challenging coastal environment with high wind exposure and neighbouring views.
Project Overview
The homeowner wanted a modern frameless balustrade that would withstand coastal conditions while providing high levels of privacy without compromising the bright, open feel of the balcony.
Product Specification
- Type: Frameless balcony balustrade
- Glass: 21.5 mm toughened laminated glass
- Interlayer: Frosted for enhanced privacy
- Finish: Clean, modern frameless appearance
The 21.5 mm toughened laminated glass combines exceptional strength with the safety benefits of lamination. Should the glass ever be impacted, the interlayer holds the fragments in place, minimising risk. The frosted interlayer delivers effective privacy while still allowing natural light to filter through.
