How do I order glass?

Simply browse our product categories, select the type of glass you need, enter your required dimensions, choose any additional options (such as edge finishing or drilling), and add to basket. You'll receive an instant price before checkout.

What dimensions can I order?

We can cut glass to virtually any rectangular size. Each product page will show the minimum and maximum dimensions available. If you need unusual shapes or sizes, please contact us to discuss your requirements.

How accurate do my measurements need to be?

We cut to the exact dimensions you provide, so accuracy is important. We recommend measuring in millimetres and double-checking before ordering. Please allow for any tolerances — standard tolerance is +/- 2mm.

What's the difference between toughened and laminated glass?

Toughened glass is heat-treated to be up to 5 times stronger than standard glass. When broken, it shatters into small, relatively harmless pieces. Laminated glass consists of two or more layers bonded together with an interlayer — if broken, the fragments stay attached to the interlayer. Toughened laminated glass combines both properties for maximum safety.

How long does delivery take?

Delivery times vary by product type. Toughened glass typically takes 5-7 working days. Laminated products and DGUs may take longer. Check individual product pages for specific lead times.

How much does delivery cost?

Delivery rates vary by product. Please see our Delivery Information page for full details. Many products qualify for free delivery on orders over £150+VAT.

Can I return or cancel my order?

As all glass is cut to your bespoke dimensions, we cannot accept returns on made-to-order products unless they are faulty or damaged in transit. Please ensure your measurements are correct before ordering. Report any damage within 24 hours of delivery.

Do you offer trade accounts?

What areas do you deliver to?

We deliver across England and Wales. Heritage DGU delivery extends up to Glasgow. Some products (Double Glazed Units) are only available for delivery within Beckton and Fareham depot zones.

Do prices include VAT?

All prices shown on our website are exclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated. VAT will be added at checkout at the current rate.

What guarantee do you offer on sealed units?

Our standard Double Glazed Units carry a 10-year guarantee when glazed into aluminium or uPVC frames, and a 5-year guarantee when glazed into timber frames (conditional on the timber frame being properly maintained throughout that period).

Heritage Units — and any sealed unit supplied with a reduced sightline — are covered by a 5-year guarantee.

The guarantee covers failure of the sealed unit resulting in condensation forming within the unit, provided the unit was glazed correctly within GGF guidelines and has not been subject to misuse, neglect or glass breakage. Full terms, conditions and claim procedure are on our Our Guarantee page.
