Glass Shop Online Ltd stands behind every sealed unit we supply. Our guarantee is built on the same manufacturing terms used by the GGF and the UK's leading sealed-unit fabricators.

What We Cover

Glass Shop Online Ltd will supply free-of-charge replacements for any sealed unit we have supplied, provided all of the following conditions are met:

1. That the Double or Triple Glazed Sealed Units have failed with the result of condensation forming within the unit.
2. That the Double or Triple Glazed Sealed Units have been glazed correctly within GGF guidelines.
3. That wooden frames glazed with the Double or Triple Glazed Sealed Units have been properly maintained.
4. That the Double or Triple Glazed Sealed Units have not been subject to any misuse or neglect.
5. The guarantee does not cover glass breakage.
6. Quality issues should be reported within 5 working days of receipt of goods. Any orders placed after 5 days will be treated as new orders and charged accordingly. Please see our returns policy and procedure for full details.

Guarantee Periods in Detail

• Sealed units glazed into uPVC or aluminium frames — subject to a ten-year guarantee.
• Sealed units glazed into wooden frames — subject to a five-year guarantee, on the condition that the timber frame has been properly maintained throughout that period.
• Heritage units, any unit with a reduced sightline, silicone-sealed units, roof-glazed units, and fire glass sealed units — subject to a five-year guarantee.

A Note on Timber Frames

Timber is a natural material and requires ongoing care to protect the seal of a glazed unit. Our five-year guarantee on timber-framed units is conditional on the frame being properly maintained — keeping the timber painted, sealed and free from damp ingress. Failure of a unit caused by an unmaintained or deteriorated timber frame is not covered.
