Included as standard — all edges machine polished smooth, safe to handle.
Dubbed Corners
Manual sanding / small removal of the sharp corner point — free of charge.
Radius Corners
Free of charge for standard 3mm or 5mm radius. For larger radius, select custom shaping and attach a drawing.
Holes / Drilling
Pre-drilled fixing holes (standard 10–12mm). £4 per hole (£8 for toughened laminated).
Cut-outs
Rectangular notch cut-outs for sockets, handles, etc. £25+VAT each (£50+VAT for toughened laminated).
Sandblasting
Decorative frosted finish for privacy or aesthetics. Price on application.
Ritec ClearShield Coating

About This Product

10mm Pyrodur EW60 is a toughened borosilicate fire-resistant glass providing 60 minutes of integrity and radiated heat protection (EW60 classification). An interior-grade product with excellent optical clarity and acoustic performance, it is certified for use in single and double-glazed configurations in timber and steel fire-rated frames, including fire doors.

Important Information

Fire-rated glass must only be used as part of an appropriately approved and tested glazing system. Installation should be carried out by FIRAS-approved specialists in accordance with the relevant Certifire certificate specifications.

  • Edge clearance: 4–5mm required
  • Lateral clearance: 4–5mm required
  • Rebate depth: minimum 20mm
  • Operating temperature range: -20°C to +40°C
  • Store in dry, ventilated conditions away from direct sunlight
  • Never allow water contact with glass edges
