Holes / Drilling
Pre-drilled fixing holes (standard 10–12mm). £4 per hole (£8 for toughened laminated).
Cut-outs

About This Product

7mm Pyrodur EW30 is a toughened borosilicate fire-resistant glass providing 30 minutes of integrity and radiated heat protection (EW30 classification). Its high-impact resistance (3(B)3) makes it ideal for fire door applications, and it can be used in both single and double-glazed configurations in timber framed fire-rated systems.

Important Information

Fire-rated glass must only be used as part of an appropriately approved and tested glazing system. Installation should be carried out by FIRAS-approved specialists in accordance with the relevant Certifire certificate specifications.

  • Edge clearance: 4–5mm required
  • Lateral clearance: 4–5mm required
  • Rebate depth: minimum 20mm
  • Operating temperature range: -20°C to +40°C
  • Store in dry, ventilated conditions away from direct sunlight
  • Never allow water contact with glass edges
